The Writer

The writer lost himself in deep thoughts,
Many were the images that came to his mind,
He fought to regain sense of some verses,
But where sense was impossible for him to find,
He seemed to drift for days in space and time,
Without understanding the way paragraphs were composed,
He sought to master some specific passages,
But could not be successful with his eyes either open or closed,
He did not let go of his dream to craft perfect prose,
He made it his goal that some stories would come to him,
He had great longing to pursue his passions,
He hoped to have enough ideas to satisfy his every whim.
