What does man look for in a poem?

A poem be such that grants
man strength. May it lift thee
to another world, delve deep into the crevices
of all hearts and ring voices
of our secrets, ever so loud.

A poem be such that hunts down
all thoughts and grace em with beauty.
Permit our mistakes to echo innocence, whilst our deeds sparkle and glare. May it
provide solace, may it recast hope.

A poem be such that bears
all your desires, remind thee of
dreams once explored.
Pray them be owned and cherished.
