This is my life

All my life
I've only been selfless
Gave them all I had
Like my giving was endless

Expected nothing in return
But some shreds of love and care
I might look like I can take it
But my strength has gotten bare

Where have I come from?
Where am I going?
This desire to keep sane
And to just keep flowing

Where is it really leading?
Will I ever get there?
Or will the Will to survive
Die out of despair

You've got some pretty rules
But I humbly refuse to abide
Dear World, know that I've awoken
My fate, I will decide.
