When you came into my life

When we met my life was turned upside down and inside out. When our eyes met I felt butterflies i had never felt before.

I didn't know at the time I had met my one true love. You showed me that good men are still here. You gave me real true love and so much more.

My life finally began to make sense and my heart started to become whole again. God knows i had been praying for you for so long and my dreams came true.

Life  had chewed me up and spit me out so many times before you. I was so scared and nervous but real love was with you.

I thank my lucky stars for you every day. I can't imagine my life without you in it. I know that God heard me and answered me after all.

Even though my thoughts and prayers were small and very often. He heard me and blessed me with the most amazing gift no matter how many times I thought it was small.

He knew just how much we were meant to be. I was made for you, even though it would be years before I would call you mine for the rest of my life.

The most amazing days were when we came into each others lives and the day I walked down the aisle and became your wife.

About this poem

This poem is about the day I met my soulmate. It's also about how I had just came out of an abusive relationship and he accepted me for how broken I was and how he loved me for me. It's also about how much I love him and how I feel so honored to have such an amazing man as my husband.
