Click goes the old bat
Click goes the bouncy bat
There we go reel in the slack
Fast as you can
You will be the man
The dirt is mirror
Of who you want to be
But you don”t show the glee
The glee to see
It's just a game
You do it for the fame
Or say it's lame
You have to enjoy the game
For what it is,
It finds a way to show
It is not the blow
It is the lame game
That gives people the fame
So reel in that slack
Just watch your back
Trust who you can
Don’t be to big of a fan
Your heart will soon break
Just as the winter icy lake
You soon realize the joy was all fake
Just imagine a sunny day
Dad just got done working with the hay
You smell the the bright sunny day
You get ready, are you steady?
You go and go till you can’t
This is fun again again
The fun comes to an end
The fun is done and so are you
It doesn’t feel the same like it should
The bat still goes click
as the glove pops
It will never be the same
This isn’t a fair game
It was never my intention
To let it get this far
When I compare myself it’s not the same
I look in the mirror and say this is lame
What happened to the game
Click click goes the bag
Click click pops the glove
The fun flew away like a dove
The love for the game is gone
I loved it so much
I just wish we could’ve stayed in touch
So there it goes again
Don’t let it go to fast
No matter what the bat still goes click click
