Trees, Bees… And That Knee

Bees buzzing through the Trees
In blows a Soft Sweet Breeze
All the Clouds drift through the Sky
Like all my Problems floating by,

The Birds chirp about their Doubts
As the Black Man shouts
The People pull out their Phones to Record
While The Man's cries go Ignored

He Cries: “I Can’t Breathe”
But the Cop keeps that Knee
On his neck for over 9 Minutes
Which was WELL past their trained Limits

What’s happening to the people isn’t okay
And it happens almost Every Day,
It’ll be done Again
If we don’t Stand Up and put it to an End
