My addiction

I woke up this morning with the needle on my mind.
I just need a little cash to save me from this bind.
I tried it for the first time when I was just a teen.
Pain and pure adrenaline a rush like I'd never seen.
Just once was all it took addiction sets in fast.
I don't regret a single fix when looking at my past.
Needles used and hours spent I know there will be many more.
I get high when the needle cries good times are what it's for.
This is my addiction the one thing I truly crave.
Don't waste your breath to criticize I'm too far gone to save.
I don't care what people think and I'm not asking you.
