The dying wish

Silently as I lay on my deathbed
To live longer I wished and say the unsaid
Forgive the foes and talk more
Only if death hadn't been on my door
I wouldve laughed and not cried
Loved those moments I despised
Afterall now that its here I realised
Who really lived and who really died.

No one's to blame for my good and sin
I've heard it all, from the depths whithin
They scream for me to live longer as I lay
On my bed and "I cant" was all I could say
For my time is complete and my life done
Nothing to finish and nowhere to run
I'll lay here silently till I'm forgiven
Till my body rots with nothing to dig in.

To burn my ashes the fire shall flourish
And my words will soon become my wish
That I will make before I'm finally gone
Not to rise again, but to die with the dawn.
