The Sea

Oh, what must I see...

If I swam to the bottom of the sea...

Will I see my ancestors who look just like me...

Or will I see the unity of the sand on the sea...

Can that be my ancestors who died for me...

Chains and whips torture and beaten and

Tossed into the sea just to die, so I could see my ancestors...

Who look just like me.

About this poem

I wrote this poem after losing two siblings nine months apart. I often wonder where could they be.
