The Old Man

An old man
Rocks his chair in time
To faceless etchings
In his mind
Left alone,
And undisturbed
With words of
Wisdom never heard
Eyelids closed
He's young
Once more
Living life
He had before
A clock
Now ticking
To and fro
In wait for
Guests that
Never show
With age is this
The end we'll find ?
An old man
Rocks his chair
In time
