Practical Advice
I plea you be in one accord,
And by being of the same mind;
Follow in the name of the Lord,
And being in the ties that bind.
I ask as a true companion,
Be side by side with the Gospel;
As you serve His dominion,
While preaching to the people.
To those within the Book of Life,
Workers that are preaching the Word;
To rescue others from their strife,
Ensuring that it has been heard.
Rejoice in the Lord, as I say,
Again I will say to rejoice;
Always trusting as you obey,
Continue to lift up your voice.
Let your moderation be known,
Unto all the Lord is at hand;
Remember you are not alone,
Always beside you where you stand.
Be not anxious about nothing,
But in everything, as you pray;
From supplication, it will bring,
Requested issues that you share.
Because for the peace of the Lord,
Surpasses all understanding;
Heart and mind be in one accord,
Beyond all your comprehending.
Keep your heart and your mind in Christ,
Whatever is true, pure, and just;
Not letting you to be enticed,
By earthly things causing your lust.
Whatever is commendable,
Whatsoever any virtue;
Whatever is honorable,
Regardless if you can construe.
If anything worthy of praise,
Always thinking about these things;
For anything that someone prays,
Learn and receive what the Lord brings.
