Towns

On my wrists are hand drawn towns,
places where I find profound
Profound enough to carry with me,
hoping it will make you see
To see the light within my soul,
I cannot carry us both
Through the fog and through the rain,
both of us will feel the pain
But in your pain will come another town,
drawn on me as I fall down
I will remember the way your soul danced,
on my heart, my eyes are tranced
Tranced on the towns continuing to form,
in my head is a great storm
And in the storm lies you and me,
who were once but never to be
