Dont keep me waiting

Cecilia Dizon 1982 (Norzagaray, Bulacan)

"Don't keep me waiting"

An old woman sitting in her rocking chair
In her eyes can show great despair
She never realized days had passed
Yet still she lived in cast

Sun starts to set and moon starts to come
Cold air starts to cover her face
Yet nobody came to give her warm embrace
For He kept her waiting….

She waited for a years
She even drain her tears
She gave him all her FAITH
Gave him all her PATIENCE to wait

She gave her all the TRUST
Love him as years may passed
She trust her LOVE
Believing GOD gave him from above

He made her believe
His love won’t deceive
But Promises are made to be broken
For He left her unspoken

Her world starts to fall
As he left him after all
Now she was left waiting
Never had the reason why he kept him hanging

I went back where I saw her
She was still on her chair
But as I took her hand
I realize her heartache has mend

Because she decided to make her life
….END….
