DEAR EX
Seabe Tladi 2002 (Mochudi)
This is art spoken from a heartbroken heart,
To where I found and lost love easily,
Today we're strangers,no overloaded spark,
This is art spoken where our chemistry is history,
I miss you so much yet I don't want you back,
For we made promises that turned into errors,
From dinner dates while getting shot by Canons,
Used that as a veil so I cheat on you with Shannon,
Shampooed myself with the Holy Spirit, head and shoulders,
Carrying pain in my shoulder like a soldier,
Relationship cruising nicely in the Sea of Love,
And it drowned by waves,"it will soon be over",
It happened and our foes are doing festivals,
Which turned my tongue into a red carpet for a couple of lexicals,
That came from a heartbroken heart oozing hurt and pain,
They say,"no pain,no gain",so I pray for my life to be vertical.
