Why did you have to go?
To leave me alone in this unforgiving world
I lay there I self denial
Maybe thinking you never left
But I see you running into another's arms
And it just breaks my heart
Shattering like a million pieces of broken glass
I don't even know whether this will ever heal

Why did you have to go?
You did it unannounced
But the wind carried it to my ears
And the walls sang it in my dreams
I could not believe it it until
I saw you at the corner
Running into his arms
Whispering words of love into his ears
Giving him that look you always gave me
As I watched you
My friend picked a tissue and wiped my tears
Because I could not hold them back anymore .

Why did you have to go ?
To leave me doubting ,
Whether I was never enough ?
Whether I was a failure ?
Whether I didn't treat you right ?
Whether I didn't give my all to you?
But you still left
But don't mind me I will always be watching in the sidelines
I guess those answers will never come
I will be patiently waiting
