Life’s Unexpected Lessons To Learn

Pain beneath the eye, So far behind it cuts twice into her spine.
She catches herself asking why, God can you give me a sign?
But don’t ask her why for it isn’t the time. That day will come executing all crimes and her heart will finally chime as the sun begins to rise she will start to shine

About this poem

A mother torn from her children left working 16 hour shifts for the Polk parkway in Florida over looking traffic with nothing but emotions and words scattering her brain she begains to lay them on small sheets of recipe paper as she drowns within her emotions missing her children dearly
