DEAR GOD

Dear God
I am not the famous rapper Dax,
but I've got lots of questions to ask;
He did put his word in a song,
But mine in poem tho not Long.

Dear God
Why did You put man on Earth?
Why did You even had him made?
Our side you've shun and left,
Our endless prayers not even heard.

Dear God
Could all this be because of our sins?
That our pains You've choose not to see?
The poor gets poor and the rich more rich,
And You are not in range to set us free.

Dear God
I stand in for my people and nation,
All of my friends and all my relation;
On my knees Psalm 25:4 I mention,
That You be merciful and gracious.

Dear God
In search of comfort and fame,
We sin against your Holy name;
We confess but still do the same,
And have toiled with it like a game.

Dear God
Please, show mercy and forgive us,
That our situation may not be worse;
Deliver us from all the worldly lust,
That we might not be forever lost.

Dear God
Thank You Oh! Lord for answering,
And your blessings on us showering;
Give us the zeal to keep the truth firing,
And work for Thee without tiring.
