Dear Pearl

Dear Pearl,

I heard you still struggle with sin

How much of the world have you even seen?

You stopped paying attention to Him

Now your chances of survival are slim

I remember Papa called you

And Mama warned you

But your wisdom was enough for you

And into the world you flew.

Pearl, Oh Pearl!

Can you still hear the warning bells?

Leave the world and come to God

In His arms there is still a spot

The agents of destruction,

Who disguise as friends and give you instructions

Flee from them, please run away

So that in the end you will not be a castaway.

Your name shows your identity

You are precious and perfect, a scarce commodity

My child, flee the devil's cage

Come to God, behold His face

He loves you Pearl, He really does

Take a look at yourself and maybe, pause

Retrace your steps and go back home

He is always waiting because you are His own.
