Fearless Moss

I am rouge
The one that got loose
Never wore her hair tight
Nor a white dress right
I ran the streets in search of food
Took down giants and made them fools
I had in me all the making of a blazing heat
That can burn metal and cremate thiefs
Damned where them to make my girls cry
The ones that stole happiness from their eyes
Took from the deepest parts of sight
An inkling of their pure light
I wanted to be their shield
Nye, more I wanted to be
One that won't ever yield
A sword in hand
I stood before many of man
With humble pride i admit
All I could do I did
Yet in eyes of the world I was but a kid
I doubt much now
Am smart
That I know for sure
But it was never the stupid it was the fools
The ones that tore pieces of their skin
To cover of another one more inch
In the end skin is only thus small
It won't cover all
Those that you fiercely loved
Were the one's that taught you hate
The one's you trusted
Taught you to be betrayed
Your cause was a spec in a raging sea
Who you fought it for
Were the unruly tides
Not the drawing ship wrecks full of plight
When you weakened they drowned your eyes
Sand and gold shreds mixed inside
Diluting every sense of self
You are one but not with everyone
They've shaken your faith
To reach the silver bays
Belief was hence forth
That hope is far
That home was gone
The sword is broken
The sun had not spoken
Am done wearing shoes I can't fit
I want nothing more than to be
A complete fool for me
The one that waited in line
Longed for their small time to shine
One that kept quiet in the dark
Nye,even
Enjoyed those barren halls
Not the alluring roses in their prime
Nor sunflowers steady nor blessed thyme
Rather,
Moss abandoned that grew over time
Needed no soil to plant a root
Nor sunlight for her growth to root
Stubborn to be alive
Even when it's dispelled by life
We were meant to live and thrive
