Last latter
Last latter 2005 (Westbengal)
last letter
The beginning is this day
What has happened so far?
Argument and violence
Everything happened only with love.
The waves of the sea and our beating
Both were calm and sweet
But this sweet wave calmed down
Tsunami created all the softness.
That tsunami washed away everything
One or two remained free on the wet sand
And in crooked hands on the floor of my room
The last letter written with some anger and tired heart.
In the last letter, there was sadness instead of love
And so much hatred, that one can no longer be angry.
Because if there was anger, it could be broken
And if there was pride, it could be adapted.
But there was nothing, no waiting, no desire
There was only farewell, and a longing to never return.
This longing of not returning, a comfort of not being seen
And willingly wish you one last good-bye,
Writing in that crooked hand with a bit of anger and a tired mind
The letter is made from a letter into a "last letter" forever.
