My gift to you

My gift to you

The hardest thing I did was live
Thinking I had nothing to give
I couldn't take anymore; I wanted to die
So suicide I gave a try

I swallowed some pills and slit my wrists;
Laid down for what seemed like a bit

When I woke up the pain was worse
Cause suicide is such a curse

For some odd reason I didn't die
I could give my life another try

I can now look back and see that
Suicide reinvented me

I've learned to take it day by day
Cause not all pain is here to stay

For those of you who want to die
Give your life another try

When you look at me, its not suicide you'll seee
For I once was you, and you are now me

I'm sharing my story with my life to live
THIS is what I have to give

Please give your life another try
People like me don't want you to die
