The triumph

THE TRIUMPH
Tip toes
the shadows are still
their masters all silent

wine bottles
spread across the streets;
some whole, others broken

shields, spears
far from its keeper;
stripped of their honor

light fun
deep sleep for giants
great strength in low

move on!
the streets are nice
our captain ordered

wise steps
planned by the known
regarded not by fools

work done
king's head, off trunk
queen's pride, in dirt

great win
wonders for the coward
the thoughts of heroes.

victory! victory!!
at last we triumph
our crown now rules
