Dream: From Ten to Ten

When I go to bed at ten,
I saw in my dreams a den.
There stands a boy name Ben,
Holding in his hand a copy and a pen,
Carefully drawing the picture of a hen.

That valley may look like a fen,
Where soldiers were marching-in lead by a Gen.
Boy thought this would be beyond his ken.

Little further were huts of men,
They were holding drugs and oen-.
Boy reported all this to the Sen,
And received a reward of a few Yen.
He donated it all to the temple of Zen.

This dream vanished when I awoke at ten.

About this poem

This is my first poem. It is a representation of my dream. As we all know, dreams are always symbolic, I try to convert it into rhythm to convey something. I hope so I did my best.
