Fear

They say fear is defined as an unpleasant emotion
An act of soaking in anxiety and tension
Fear is more than that to me, oh so much more
It's my old friend connected to my soul, my core
He finds comfort in my darkness
I hide behind his wilderness
For fear has seen the truth behind lies,
Wrecked cries, the fall and the rise
Every night he takes me in his arms
Forcing a rush of bravery, strength and calm
To survive every other day
Fear for me is a ray
of hope
And when he is no longer needed
My beloved friend will rest under my soul which he healed whenever it was defeated

And we will never say goodbye
For goodbyes are for those who die with cry.....
