We touch lives
We are blood thirsty ravenous wolves Hungry for a difference we are mad We want to make a difference
Bees have hives We have knives We seek not high fives we want to change lives
We won't come in the name of motivational speakers Cause They let us take so much heed Like it's some sacred creed Making us feel so guilty of our greed And repenting from our weed
Eyes wide open Heart so profound and Mind ready to amend
With attention this drawn Are you listening or you are hearing We wonder
Do these words really abide Or maybe you just throw them aside Cause we still have people committing
Emmanuel Kant once said: Live your life as though your every act were to become a universal law Is it possible to let his words slide down our hearts or just sink deep in our minds and the meaning reflect all the way out
We want man and woman, Old and young That will support initiatives which offer solutions to our pressing problems
We want to wake up tomorrow and see a young man that knows that a belt helps prevent sagging and is not a tool for suicide
Men and women that appreciate the value of their black melanin and not endorse gecko complexion
Women that understand that there is nun but luring beauty in nakedness One that leads into temptation
Lets make an impact One that will last We have long awaited for change Change for a better and brighter tomorrow
lets change lives
