The miseducation of me

How do we get to understand
To understand life.
How were we meant to know
With minimal information about it
We thought we would conquer.
But passion was lacking.
I knew, since back then I knew .
I knew but what could I do.
So unapproachable he is.
Also didn't want to disappoint them.
All the pressure of being looked up to.
All the being a  role model - A role model they say !
I wish I took the diaspora route.
And i would be as accomplished as her. She had the knowledge I guess. I lacked the knowledge I know.
But now I am the wiser. But is it too late.
Will I meet the same fate as the young lawyer.
I am sorry I judged him. I was too young to understand. Robert I now have a glimpse of what you went through.
I aspire to be a wolf. What were you trying to communicate that day?
I thought it was just gibberish. I think after these episodes I now have a clue.
I would never blame anybody. That is what the society believes.
He is aloof. I am aloof. That why I plan on never seeding. I am afraid they will be aloof and I will be aloof. I am afraid the cycle will continue.
No one should go through this . No one!.
