Be Wise
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Be wise my son and bring joy to my heart.
These words you’ve impressed upon me from the start.
Don’t give into the evil that comes from men.
I will be answering all of them!
Just be obedient go share with your friends.
You know I’ll be with you until the end.
Then after the end you’ll see my face.
I’ll no longer move you from place to place!
But home once more you’ll be to stay.
With no vile images to lead you astray.
No televisions or computer screens;
You’ll never see anything that’s obscene!
Though one of these was a useful tool;
The other was only made for fools.
To guide them into the places below,
Where no man should ever have to go!
