Journey to Joy

You pop out from thy mum's protective womb,
You cry and then look around the room.

As long you are small you express with cry,
And you know no one will deny.

But being grown up you must choose,
Busy people will often refuse.

Always you will have two paths,
And you must know it’s totally maths.

You stand at the corner of a huge triangle,
Yes, choose the right side else you will wrangle.

The more you move towards Wrong side,
The Right side will seem distantly wide.

There is no reversal from the path chosen,
Thee every moment take a decision and don’t get woven.

Life is a cup full of happiness and joy,
Leave it loose & choose the Right side and you will enjoy.

About this poem

Inspiration Behind this poem: When I was in school there was a subject called Moral Science. In Moral Science class the students were taught morals from stories and quotes. I remember one of the teachers speaking about the path of life- the good and the bad path. I thought on this and put it on the paper. I hope this poem will assist the audience to get insights and drive them towards the resolutions made in new year for new beginnings.
