About this poem

This was a poem that was inspired by a single rose I bought to give to a beautiful girl in my past, but cold feet got the best of me. The next day I put it in the windshield of her car with with a note that revealed my feelings for her, and she never knew who was culprit behind the scheme. I never had the heart to reveal myself.
