The Journey of a Soul
Amidst the chasm of darkness and light,
A soul embarked on a journey of might,
Through valleys of despair and peaks of hope,
It traversed the path of life, learning to cope.
The first steps were timid, uncertain, and slow,
Yet a flame of curiosity sparked a glow,
With every turn, the soul discovered new sights,
Embracing the day and bidding farewell to the night.
The wind whispered secrets of love and pain,
The sun painted colors of joy and strain,
The rain washed away both sorrow and bliss,
The earth cradled the soul in her eternal kiss.
But the road was not easy, nor without strife,
Temptations and trials were part of life,
The soul stumbled and fell, but rose again,
Resilient, determined, to the end.
And as it neared the end of its earthly quest,
The soul found peace and quiet in its chest,
Gazing at the horizon, where sky meets sea,
It smiled, content, and whispered, "I am free."
For in the journey of a soul, it's not the destination that counts,
But the lessons learned and the moments that mount,
The love shared, the kindness shown, the joy felt,
That make the journey an award-winning belt.
So let us cherish the journey, and let us not forget,
That every soul has a story, a gift, a unique set,
Of experiences and dreams, of hopes and fears,
That make our lives worth living, and wipe away our tears.
