God Bless the Broken Road

The journey of life will bring many sorrows
Brokenness and anxiety of your tomorrows
Day in and day out, your efforts seem obsolete
Trying to find the meaning of life, all the while, you're incomplete
Your responsibilities seem far greater than you can bare
You want to loosen the burdens, but your pride wouldn't dare
In the midst of your cries, there is a God who has been listening
Collecting your tears and broken pieces, He's repositioning
You're right, the burdens you carry are too great for you to bare
He's waiting patiently for you to get into His presence and share
There is so much He can do for you when you just give Him a chance
Your troubles get lighter as your strength becomes enhanced
The broken road is not the first choice many people take
Oh, but the things you gain from this road, not even the angels can take
You were never meant to travel this journey alone
May you take a chance and let God bless the broken road
