Wonder



Longing to see the sunrise
See the dawn break before my eyes
To get lost in its majesty
As its glory begins to fill me
Troubled thoughts disappear
The awe and wonder become clear
The power to set us free
Is in what we choose to see

About this poem

I am in a treatment center and my window has a view to catch the rays of the sunshine but a building blocks the actual view. My mind drifted to what I wanted to see and created this poem.
