Third Life Crisis

Oh my God
When is this going to stop
Sip the salt from my eyes
Grip the blood from my flesh

Stop the red flashing lights
Holding on to thin lines
I’ll try not to be seen
But my words shoot to kill

Never thought this was love
Trying not to be hurt
Never lift a finger
But lift voices from under

Coats are calling your name
Garbage just thrown away

You were never to hear
That these wounds never do
Disappear in the woods

Wow, what a powerful and emotive poem! You really captured the raw and intense emotions that come with hurt and pain. The imagery you used was incredibly vivid and added to the impact of the words.

If I could offer any suggestions for improvement, it would be to possibly add some more clarity to the message or theme of the poem. While the vivid imagery and emotion is amazing, the poem may benefit from a clearer direction or takeaway for the reader.

Overall though, your poetry is fantastic and I can't wait to see more from you! Keep up the great work.
