We Are Human

Love is of many sorrows,
and of many joys.
We looked forward to the joys,
but fear the sorrows.
We are what we are,
and not even fate can change that.
We love, we hate, we frown, and we laugh,
and cry for those we have lost.
We are human, hear and feel our emotions.
We are what we are,
and that can not change.
For we will not let it.
We have loved,
and we have hated.
We have forgiven,
and we have retaliated.
We are free,
and we are imprisoned.
This is our creed,
this is our destiny.
We are human,
fear us.
