I am the moon

I am the moon
Under me, you swoon
You ignore the cracks and craters
Anyone who prefers the sun, you call a hater
You want me to be only yours
To keep each other safe, not let me soar
Alas, I am no one’s, not even my own
I am broken to the very bone
Yes I am beautiful and divine
But I still need fixing, I still need time
