Blue As The Breeze
Blue As The Breeze
Blue as the breeze and falling water
The sky weeps her quiet storm
We make our love for real
Over the sheets so soft and cool
We waited so long
To drop our clothes
Those everyday faces we wore
So the world would not
Divide us in the light
Allowing us to meet naked
Under the cover of darkness.
Morning comes as a cool canopy
We huddle to sleep so warm
Us is what we feel
We celebrate this
As often as possible
The wind comes through windows
Fresh air caresses us
Our bodies remember
We are made for love
Knowing love made us
To repeat our fire again!
