Extinct

                                 EXTINCT
One day we will all be extinct.
Our lives will be gone just in a blink.
The time we lived upon this earth
Will make way for a new birth.
The shoes we bought and the clothes we wore
Will not have a place here anymore.
We will not be needing our daily bread
Or cloak or covering for our head.
Extinct— I am sure we will all be some day.
For the time will come when we must go away.
As the time winds down and the hour draws near,
The Lord is my Shepard and  I shall not Fear.
