Spider
William brooks 1959 (Salem)
Hey there little spider and how is your day. Spinning your web in a fascinating way. For you are not shy as you keep on going. Impressing speed as it keeps growing. For you are well known all over the place. Putting your web in an empty space. Your reputation I say is very well known. Living here living there and in peoples homes. You do us no harm as we share daily life. As well as we do you live it in strife. Often overlooked and causing a scare. Then stomped out it really isn't fair. So spider I say live your life at its best. There will be a change hopefully I guess. Instead of seeing a giant you will see a friend. Hopefully that is the way it will end.
About this poem
