A cherished soul who touched hearts far and wide,
A beacon of light, her spirit to enthrall,
With a passion for science and books by her side.

A transgender woman, she embraced her truth,
Radiating courage, strength, and grace,
Her warmth and kindness, a perpetual soothe,
In her presence, strangers found a familiar place.

Loved by many, her memory forever cherished,
A radiant star that will never dim,
Amelia, your spirit will never have perished,
In our hearts, your light will forever brim.

Though you're gone, your legacy shall remain,
An inspiration, a reminder of love's refrain.
