My truth
Drift, drift, bang, boom
The beat hits as the sway of my pencil leads the way
1 ,2, 3 ,4 ,5 swoosh
My pencil forms the disputes as
the melody sings to my intellect and send chills to the structure of the spine
I wonder how life would have written itself when I was younger
But I learned it doesn’t
You write your story just like I would write mine
Being over shadowed because
The lead in my pencil shows shade and so do I
I know every day is not going to be perfect or how u want it
It's gone be remorseful days, days where the sun WONT shine and rain pours
Drip, drip, drip, rat- a- tat, boom- pat
Lightning hitting my pencil making my hands electric
The composition feeding my mind like social media feeding everyone's mentality
Drama, peer pressure, predators, false activity
As the negativity flows like the refrain of my pencil on paper
I sit down and think
Why and how did the world come to this reality
Drift, drift, bang, boom
About this poem
This poem was a combination of music and writing to tell the real world. All around us is the worst of the world and I decided why not right. Why not write about such thing that’s hacks been blinded to everyone’s yes.
