My Thanksgiving Poem

Today is Turkey Day,
I'm thankful for everything I say,
Because I love my voice,
And I have a choice,
To live or die,
 And never say goodbye,
Always says hello,
Like a fellow,
Opening my heart,
Let the blood flow,
I will never die,
And I will never cry,
Being stronger than ever,
And use the word never,
I'm not ready to pass the torch,
Sitting on my front porch,
Drinking my coffee and writing,
As the mosquitoes are not biting,
I'm very blessed today,
I can never leave my love ones behind,
Keeping them safe all day,
What can I say,
                  Happy Thanksgiving Day
