About my brothers passing

About this poem

*White thick blanket of snow covering the roads, Greyhound humming in the background we still got 16 hours to go! *Carthart sweatshirt and shit kickers on as usual, Tall an stocky he looks just like our Uncle Paul another hour passes an both already for a beer and smoke though! *Country music blaring, some Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, and of course Red Dirt Road, case of budwiser and some good weed to smoke! *Wishing i could take back the arguement we had the night after that; Blame myself alot, had i kept my cool maybe you woulda talked about what is was for you thats broke! *We 5 maybe all different people but we all have simliar souls, A year later here i sit and your gone, Our sister is M. I.A nothing feels right! *Cant believe the last time was the last time, All i want for christmas is to spend the night laughing, drinking, smoking with you and Burr, i just want one more night! *People walk around with genuine smiles on their faces wishing Happy Holidays to one another, everytime i hear it i want to run to the bathroom and cry! *Once upon a time the hoildays was my favorite time of year, but this year i cant even fake a smile but i still try! *Somedays i dont have to force it conviced that everything will be okay, Other days i feel so angry im scared i might explode! *Knowing that death is apart of life, even accepted your reasoning, honestly wish you werent gone though an could just go back and made the effort to implode! *Cant help but think had i tried harder to get you to talk, maybe we'd be having a few beers and some shots of jack! *All i want for christmas is one more night to spend with my siblings laughing, drinking, smoking and kickin back! 12/23/22
