Weather in Weakness

Tonight I watched the sunset.
As rain blurred my view,
All I could think of was you,
You’d think it beautiful, I bet.

You’d be so in awe.
I miss you, I miss what could have been
-What I could have created, but then…
I am too withdrawn.

Now here I lay, with clouds in my head.
I must face you, where we once trode
Will you notice when I completely erode?
I’ll be gone, I might as well be dead.

I wonder, if I ignore everyone’s existence,
will I forget you as well?
I see no chance in hell.
For all day, it is throughout my head you dance.

I know it, I need sleep.
But these violent storms keep me awake.
Coming in waves, surges of ache.
(It’s come back again, I guess I’m just weak)
So for now I weep.
