Cross roads of love and time
On a path unknown, our stories intertwined,
A stranger's voice, your heart's confide.
From the classroom moment, fate did spin,
A tale of a lover's beginnings, draw from within.
You stopped me,a stranger with a tale,
And I, against my doubts, set sail.
I lent an ear to your troubles, wide,
And in those moments, hope did reside.
Numbers exchanged, conversations grew,
A connection blossomed, strong and true.
But now ,a distance starts to grow.
A chill in the air, a love's ebb and flow.
You said it was love at first sight,
I hesitated, thinking you might
Be just like others, weaving tales,
But gradually, your persistence unveils.
Time's passage begs a question,clear,
Why is your presence less near?
Busy signals, silence in the air,
Leaving me wondering,in deep despair.
I long to help, to bridge the divide,
To understand the turmoil you try to hide.
Do you still hold that love so strong,
Or is it time to admit it's wrong?
Uncertainty casts shadows,fears ignite,
In my heart's darkness, seeking light.
I won't force a bond that's meant to fade,
Yet, I wish to know, before decisions are made.
I won't betrayal my heart anew,
It's healing, piece by piece , through and through.
A past heartbreak, a heavy toll,
I can't risk my spirit's peace for love's role.
So, I stand at this crossroads, it's clear,
Choosing my soul's well being, my dear
If our love was meant to find it's place,
Time will tell, in it's own embrace.
