The Ent

The Ent

A sort of apology (for a certain someone but for friends and non-friends, as well)

You know
as angels and demons
sit inside people
we also give birth to them
or grow them
or just turn them
on

You know
you´re one of those ents for me
I think you´re a demon
most of the time
because I punish myself with you

But also, you´re an angel
and I can talk to you
get a little perspective
as if it was really far
from me to comprehend

This ent
has your shape
and the information I got from you
for the past
forty years
it´s almost an AI
a program I know
as you know
it´s just me
being really silly

You´re not even my favourite ent
but you are a persistent
one
may be as it is so childish
I can cherish you

So you know, i get to be
narcissistic in a very contorted way
you´re like a funny mirror
a distorted vision
of you turns to be
a distorted vision of me

You have to know I love
fiction
and I´m elaborating a lot here
- i´m not
dangerous, you know -
trying to tell you in this foreign
language that I treasure you
 - or it
that somehow has nothing
to do with you.

I guess, thank you
and sorry
are in order.
