The Music Man

Lora Webb 1961 (CA)

Your music, it speaks to my soul

You’ve breathed life back into me

With the passion you exude, I feel whole

The beauty of the world, I now can see

Gazing upon you, my heart skips a beat

Although not in this lifetime

Shall we ever meet

It would be sublime

If after this life’s wild ride

As your music continues its stride

Our souls will then collide

About this poem

I was inspired to write this after listening to a piece of music that touched my heart and spoke to my soul.
