The Natural Son
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Many times and in many ways,
God spoke unto us through the seers;
Talking to us of the last days,
The end of time when Christ appears.
For He spoke to us by His Son,
Been appointed heir of all things;
To whom creation had been done,
The resources that the world brings.
He is the bright glory of God,
Exact imprint of His nature;
The power that people have laud,
For becoming a new creature.
After purging from our sin,
Christ had sat down on God’s right hand;
As Majesty on high begins,
The Father gave Him to command.
He’s superior to angels,
As His name has inherited;
Even honored by the devils,
His power is unlimited.
