The cycle

Bailey Tucker 2003

Violet stars
And sacred nights
You fight, you try, you hold on tight.
I slip and grasp
Choose yet to yield,
Though through my hands
You’ve fallen still.
Death’s graveyard meets you with wave
I try to still, I try to brave.
If you should die before you wake
I pray the lord your soul to take.
