sink

beck 1776 (america)

I stare into the darkness behind my eyelids,
Soft and sorrowful
Feeling the bright and cold teardrops
Glide down my dotted cheeks
And falling onto my bare knee

No heavenly gaze lays upon me,
Except, perhaps the moon’s,
That sparkles down my spine
And makes me shiver while I’m
Curled up in my plastic bathtub

The gentle leafs
Tend to lean down
To allow the raindrops to
Fall from them, silently.
But sadly, I make noise.
And my body stays dry in the shower.
