Free verse
Crying in the rain
Thinking how to ease the pain
Being betrayed by you
Left me with no clue

I want to run, I want to hide
From all the pain he cause inside
He hurt me bad, the pain is deep
From all the promises he couldn't keep

My heart, once full, now broken and bruised
A victim of betrayal, that's been abused
I'm left to ponder, why and how
And wonder if he knew that I'm in pain now

As I write this, memories flood me
They remind me of all we used to be
